DN25 (1″) Megawave Low Loss Header 50 kW with 42mm 2 inlets and 4 outlets
By separating the system into primary and secondary circuits, the low loss header allows boilers to operate at constant flow rate in the primary circuit whilst flow rates and temperatures may vary in the secondary circuit. This avoids any interaction between circuits and enables the primary circuit return temperature to represent the overall/maximum load on the system. By regulating the flow rate, a low loss header ensures that efficiency and performance of the system are improved, and the heat pumps are safeguarded from irregular flows - ultimately prolonging the life of the heat pump, it works the same way as a Megawave buffer tank.
